TOUGHMAN Series Champ
The TOUGHMAN Half Iron series is pleased to announce the addition of TOUGHMAN AZ Lake Havasu to the TOUGHMAN Half Iron series. Lake Havasu will host the newest TOUGHMAN Half race location. Known for being close to Southern California as well as Las Vegas this race is a great early season race for athletes in the SoCal area. Qualifiers from TOUGHMAN AZ will be able to compete in the TOUGHMAN Half Iron International Championship in New York in 2017.
“Our series continues to grow in both popularity and the number of races because we represent grass roots triathlon but with a standardized format. Athletes that register for a TOUGHMAN race know that they will get a safe, great race experience at every TOUGHMAN venue. Having a brand that caters specifically to age groupers and families is good for the sport.”
With 12 locations in the North and South America this makes the TOUGHMAN brand the 2nd largest in N and S America.

About the TOUGHMAN Half Iron Series
The TOUGHMAN Series is currently 12 races in the US with locations in: Lake Havasu AZ, FL, Columbus Ga, Indianapolis IN, Tupper Lake NY, Sherwood WI, Ocean Shores WA, Chisago MN, Antofagasta Chile, Pell City AL, Provo UT and Santa Fe NM. The series Championship in Stony Point New York, (just 20 miles north of NYC), 1400 volunteers and has a closed bike course with over $30,000 worth of age group awards as well as a $4950 cash purse (top 5) for qualifiers!
